About Us

Our founder, E.Serdar BASOGLU, completed his primary, secondary, and high school education in Istanbul before graduating from Kocaeli University with a degree in Electrical Engineering in 2003. After completing his military service, including one year as a reserve officer, he spent three years working on smart home automation projects.

From 2007 to December 2024, he served at one of Turkey’s largest electrical products distribution companies. Starting as a technical sales engineer, he rose to the position of Board Member. In December 2024, he left his role to realize his dreams and established Barla Energy, a company whose name is inspired by the combination of his two beloved children’s names.

Over the course of his 21-year career, he has connected with thousands of customers across nearly 100 countries worldwide, forging long-lasting friendships and contributing to the material supply for numerous projects.

Now, with the founding of Barla Energy in January 2025, our mission is to provide tailor-made, project-based solutions for our valued clients in Turkey, while offering competitive material supply and engineering solutions to our international customers.
